I love Chinese restaurants, especially 王将. I usually use this restaurant 2 or 3 times per month.
About 2 years ago, When I told about this fact to my Chinese colleague, she said “王将 is NOT Chinese cuisine“. And she took us to a restaurant that she believe it is close to genuine Chinese cuisine in Osaka.

The restaurant’s name is 紫禁城. This is the name of the castle that existed in Beijing in the old Chinese dynasty.
She ordered recommendable foods using fluent Chinese, and many foods were arranged on the table.
I had imagined that many foods are so spicy that it is hard to eat, but it is not so spicy on the contrary.
Foods difference should depend on where it is coming from in the part of China. She seems to be from Xuzhou. So I guessed it is coast side food in China. It was good, It’s a light taste and was easy to eat. What’s more important anything was that we could enjoy different cultures.
I hope the Chinese enjoy 王将 as the experience of a different culture.
