Chausson aux pommes is a traditional French pastry and one of my favorites menu on the Cafe Tanaka.

In French, ‘chausson’ means ‘slipper,’ and ‘aux pommes’ means ‘with apples.’ The name comes from its appearance, which resembles a slipper. Chausson aux pommes is usually shaped like a half-moon or crescent, with a pastry dough filled with apple filling and baked. spices like cinnamon or vanilla are added. The outside is a crispy pastry, and it pairs perfectly with vanilla ice cream and coffee.

Unfortunately, whenever I visit Cafe Tanaka, it’s often already sold out. I hope to meet it again next time.
